Andrew Dingee

Andrew “Dirtman” Dingee graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Economics.  Upon graduation, Andrew was commissioned into the United States Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant.  Two years later, Andrew earned his “wings of golds” and flew fighters for 27 years.  While in the Marines, he earned numerous awards including the Joe Foss award for aerial combat maneuvers – dog fighting. 

In 1999, he was hired at United Airlines as a pilot and promoted into a variety of safety leadership positions and was on the safety management system team for United.  For his accomplishments, he was nominated for the Flight Safety Foundation Brownlow award.

As a qualified NTSB accident investigator and incident reporting expert, he implemented changes to United’s safety system that increased safety and efficiency to the world’s largest airline.  In 2010, Andrew successfully implemented aviation style checklists and procedures into the oil and gas industry that reduced risk and increased efficiency - saving hundreds of millions of dollars.    In 2018, Andrew completed his book titled, “Delivering the Right Stuff”.  His book highlights the journey on how the airline industry migrated away from blaming the individual to understanding why people make mistakes.  Recently, Andrew retired as the Chief Standards Officer for bpx energy.  In this position, Andrew established the industry’s first standardization department charged with developing and maintaining execution excellence through procedures and checklists.  Andrew resides in Golden Colorado, with his wife Valerie.

Chris Roberts

Chris has over thirty-five years of experience in the oil and gas, health care, and accounting industries, where he has served in C-suite/executive roles in both for, and not-for-profit companies.  Chris possesses a wide range of experience in leadership, strategic and tactical planning, project and risk management, cost/budget/forecast responsibility, and business development He operationalized his servant leadership skills growing and leading a 50-person upstream O&G consulting firm serving the majors; and as an executive at a 300-person global non-profit serving 18 countries around the globe where he oversaw philanthropy, marketing and communications, affinity groups, and global mission trips.  He has served on multiple boards and volunteered throughout his career.

Chris possesses the ability to think strategically and creatively, an ability to lead a team to innovate and earn the confidence of subordinates and superiors, an ability to build relationships of trust, and an aptitude to inspire others. Chris has an engaging personality that aligns well with formulating business development and sustaining client relationships.  His core strengths include the skill to develop and grow the necessary elements of an organization and the discernment to evaluate and lead high character resources to achieve a desired goal to ultimately serve the client.
His first loves are his wife, Lisa, and their daughter, Madeline. Empty nesting now brings travel, dining out w/ friends, getting back into golf, and attending Houston sports regularly.

Dave Heronemus

Dave “Hero” Heronemus joined our team in 2012 and serves as our VP of Safety Auditing.  Dave is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy and a retired United States Marine Corps Aviator.  He has been flying professionally for 34 years and has qualified in multi-engine turbo helicopters, turbo prop, and turbo jet aircraft.  He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and completed both the Aviation Safety Officers Course and the Aviation Safety Commander’s course at the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey California.  Notable assignments include, Director of Operations, Aviation Combat Element, 11th Marine Expeditionary unit, Air Operation Officer, USS Bonhomme Richard, Director of Safety, Marine Corps Installations West, and War Game Director, United States Naval War College.

Dave’s currently serves as Chief Pilot/Falcon 900 Captain for 247 Mesa LLC.  He resides in Austin Texas with his wife of 28 years Laurie and their 16-year-old son Pierce.

Dave Schlichting

Dave “Sting” Schlichting joined our team in 2012 and serves as our VP of Operations.  Dave is a graduate of US Air Force Academy and retired Marine Aviator.  He has been flying professionally for 36 years and qualified in numerous airframes.  Currently, Dave is a 777 Captain for a major US carrier.  One of Dave’s top accomplishments is being executive officer for MAWTS -1 the equivalent of the Navy’s US Topgun.  He resides in Bluffton South Carolina with his wife Bobbi.
